We are excited to share transformative cultural and spiritual experiences with you at beautiful, curated global destinations. By booking your retreat with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which outline important details about your booking, participation, and safety. We kindly ask that you read them carefully so you are well-prepared for your journey.

Booking Confirmation
Once we receive your full or first payment, which includes a non-refundable deposit of $555, and your completed registration form, your booking will be confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email with all the details to make your experience smooth and enjoyable.

Your Retreat Includes
Your all-inclusive retreat includes all of the following:

• Accommodations: 8 nights double occupancy accommodations as follows: 2 nights at the Farol Hotel in Cascais and 6 nights at the Xhale Resort in Terceira

• Meals: three daily meals, and snacks for the group along with non-alcoholic beverages are included. You are welcome to purchase alcohol and additional food/snacks on your own.

• Airport transfer: transportation to/from Lisbon to the Farol and to/from Terceira airport to Xhale Resort

• Airfare: roundtrip airfare between Lisbon and Terceira

• Cultural and Nature Excursions

• A 75-minute massage of your choice at Xhale Spa

• A well curated itinerary that includes movement, relaxation time, ceremony/rituals, shopping

• The rare experience of living among sacred artwork that holds energies for transformation

Your Retreat Excludes

• Your airfare to/from Portugal

• Alcohol

• Tips for drivers, hotel staff, tour guides, etc.

Important Travel Considerations

Goddess Within Portugal concludes at Xhale Resort in Terceira on November 9th, 2025. A roundtrip flight returning you to Lisbon on that date is included in your retreat package. Please consider the following when arranging your flights home post-retreat:

• If home is on East Coast of the U.S., direct flights from Terceira to select U.S. cities like Boston, New York or Miami may be available. You will want to purchase a one-way ticket to Lisbon and a one-way ticket back from Terceira. If you choose this option, you do not need to return to Lisbon with the group.

• If home is elsewhere in the U.S., you can purchase a round-trip flight to/from Lisbon, though you may need an overnight stay in Lisbon on Nov 9th. Please note that this additional night is a supplemental cost and is not a part of the retreat package. As a courtesy, we have secured a limited number of rooms for the night at the Meliá Lisbon Airport Hotel at a rate of 173€ single (3 available) and 191€ double (2 available), including bed and breakfast. Please notify us at heygoddess@goddesswithinretreats.com if you wish to book one of the rooms, specifying single or double. The hotel will send you a payment link.

Reservations
Rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re coming with a roommate, please make sure both of you register at the same time. If you’ve chosen a shared room but don’t yet have a roommate, we will match you with someone. We are amazing matchmakers and some women who didn’t know one another before our retreat have become close friends after rooming together.

Client Documentation & Waiver
For international travel, U.S. citizens need to present a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date). Please ensure that all your travel documents, including passports, visas, and compliance with any special advisories, are in order before your retreat. It’s important to check any travel advisories (like COVID-19 warnings), as we can’t be responsible for any losses or changes caused by them.

Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for securing the necessary travel documents and travel insurance. We’ll provide helpful guidelines specific to your destination, and we encourage you to follow them closely to ensure everything goes smoothly. Please confirm that you health insurance is valid for international travel.

Participation
This is your retreat and we want you to feel comfortable and at ease, and at the same time encourage you to participate in the experience that we have carefully curated. Though all activities are optional, so if you’d like some free time instead, feel free to enjoy it. Please note that we can’t offer refunds for skipped activities. Cultural differences may arise and we ask that you kindly respect local laws and cultural practices.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable. Here’s our cancellation policy to help you make informed decisions:

For International Retreats

• 120+ days before the retreat: full refund, minus non-refundable $555 deposit

• 90-119 days: 50% refund, minus deposit

• 45-89 days: 30% refund, minus deposit

• 44 days or less: No refund

To cancel, please email us at heygoddess@goddesswithinretreats.com so that we can process your refund for you.

Transfer Policy
Retreats are non-transferable and we understand that life happens. If there is a waiting list and we are able to fill you spot, we will consider doing so on a case-by-case basis. Please note, we cannot make exceptions for situations like illness or personal emergencies, thus we strongly recommend travel insurance to cover these kinds of situations.

Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters or pandemics, we cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays. If we recover any funds from our suppliers, we’ll pass those along to you, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation by Retreat Leaders
If we need to cancel a retreat, we will offer you the option to transfer your payment to another retreat or provide a full refund (minus your non-refundable deposit). Please note that we are not responsible for losses incurred for additional costs such as airfare. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip.

Changes to Itineraries
While we aim to stick to our planned itineraries, sometimes we need to make adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances. In past retreats, we have discovered magic in these detours. We’ll always keep you informed and do our best to ensure you have a wonderful experience.

Travel Protection/Trip Insurance
Travel insurance, including "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) coverage, is strongly recommended, particularly for international retreats. Insurance can help with unexpected events like medical emergencies, missed connections, or lost baggage. Goddess Within Retreats is not responsible for delays or costs resulting from travel delays, weather, and events beyond our control.

Retreat Pricing & Itinerary Changes
Prices are per person and vary depending on the retreat. The retreat price includes the accommodations, excursions and experiences detailed on our website, but does not cover airfare, unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the itinerary if needed.

Exchange Rate Adjustment
Our retreat pricing is based on current dollar to euro exchange rates at the time of listing. While we strive to keep pricing stable, in the event of a significant fluctuation in exchange rates (defined as a change of more than 10% from the rate at the time of booking), we reserve the right to adjust the final balance due. If an adjustment is necessary, we will notify you in advance and provide documentation of the exchange rate change.

Deposit & Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of $555 is included in your full or first payment. Your retreat reservation is confirmed when you pay-in-full or when you enroll for a payment plan. If your full payment isn’t received by Sept 1, 2025, your reservation may be canceled without refund.

Health & Safety Considerations
Please ensure that you have medical insurance that covers international travel. If your current policy doesn’t include this, we recommend purchasing travel medical insurance.

Questions & Acknowledgment
By submitting payment for your retreat, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you have any questions or need more information, don’t hesitate to reach out to us – we’re here to support you!

Assumption of Risk/Release and Waiver of Liability
By registering for a retreat, you acknowledge and accept the terms of our waiver, including the potential use of any photos for marketing purposes. You understand that participation in physical activities may involve some risk, and you agree to take responsibility for your health and safety during the retreat. It is your responsibility to confirm that your healthcare insurance plan provides coverage while traveling internationally.

Agreement and Consent
I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms and sign it freely without any inducement or assurance of any nature and intend it to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law and agree that if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid that the balance, notwithstanding, shall continue in full force and effect. By signing below I am confirming that I have read and understand and agree to this Retreat Participant Agreement and Release document and the terms herein.
